Ukrainian soldier wounded amid four attacks launched by Russia-occupation forces in Donbas in past 24 hours – JFO HQ
KYIV. Nov 24 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Over the past day in Donbas, Russia-occupation forces opened fire on Ukrainian positions four times, and a serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was wounded. Since Wednesday midnight, the regime of ceasefire has been observed, the press center of the JFO headquarters has reported.
"Over the past day, on November 23, four violations of the ceasefire by the Russian occupation forces were recorded, one of which with the use of weapons prohibited by the Minsk agreements … As a result of hostile actions, one soldier of the Joint Forces was wounded. The soldier is placed in a medical facility. His health state is satisfactory," the JFO staff said in its morning update on Facebook on Wednesday.
The enemy opened fire in the direction of Zaitseve, near Verkhniotoretske, Shumy and near Shyrokyne.
"As of 7:00, on November 24, no violation of the ceasefire by the Russian occupation forces was recorded," the headquarters said.
