Ukrainian military in Bakhmut asks Zelensky to hand over flag of Ukraine to 'brothers in USA'
KYIV. Dec 20 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Ukrainian military in Bakhmut handed over the flag of Ukraine to President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky with a request to hand it over to their "brothers in the United States." "For weapons?" Zelensky asked and added: "We will hand over everything."
"We have a difficult situation, the enemy is increasing its numbers. We will convey to the U.S. Congress, to the President, gratitude for their support," he said on FREEDOM TV on Tuesday.
"It seems to me that Bakhmut heroes should receive the same as any person. Their children, families: so that everything is fine with them, they are warm, and healthy. I would like to wish that there was light, but the situation is that there is light, and then there is not. The main thing is that light is inside," he said.
