Ukrainian military carry out one-day humanitarian mission in Staromaryivka located in 'gray zone'

KYIV. Nov 1 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Ukrainian military conducted a one-day humanitarian mission in Staromaryivka, today not a single serviceman is present within the village, the 93rd Independent Mechanized Brigade Kholodny Yar said on Facebook.

"On October 26, in order to protect the working group, which carried out measures to provide humanitarian assistance to residents of Staromaryivka settlement and at the request of the leadership of the local military-civilian administration, a group of servicemen of the 93 mechanized brigade took up observation posts in the vicinity of Staromaryivka settlement and ensured the safe stay of civilians in it," the message says.

It is noted that after the completion of the humanitarian mission on the same day, October 26, all servicemen of the 93rd brigade involved in protecting the working group left Staromaryivka settlement and returned to their duty stations on the contact line in accordance with the Minsk agreements.

To date, there is not a single serviceman of the brigade within the settlement of Staromaryivka.

Earlier, Russian media reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine allegedly regained control over the village of Staromaryivka, located in the "gray zone."
