Ukrainian intelligence officers return to country two women, six children who held captive in Syria
KYIV. March 17 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Employees of the Main Intelligence Agency of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine carried out an operation to release from captivity and evacuate Ukrainian citizens held in terrible conditions on the territory of Syria.
“Military intelligence officers returned home two Ukrainian women and six children, they crossed the state border tonight,” the agency said on the Telegram channel.
The agency said that even in the conditions of the Russian aggressive war, Ukraine does not forget its citizens in trouble and will come to the rescue anywhere in the world.
