Ukrainian Insurance Group collects UAH 1.1 bln, pays UAH 1.251 bln in H1 2021

KYIV. Sept 2 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Ukrainian Insurance Group (Kyiv) in January-June 2021 collected UAH 1.097 billion in insurance premiums, which is 20.4% more than in the same period in 2020, and paid UAH 1.251 billion in indemnities.

This is reported in the information of the Institute for Risk Analysis on the confirmation of the company’s long-term credit rating at the level "uaAA" with a stable outlook based on the financial statements of the insurer for the six months of 2021 and internal information provided during the rating process.

Analysts of the institute noted that the company’s assets as of June 30, 2021 amounted to UAH 4.016 billion, insurance reserves were formed at the level of UAH 3.099 billion.

As noted on the insurer’s website, the loss ratio for the reporting period increased by 3.6 percentage points, the combined ratio decreased by 3.2 percentage points.
