Ukrainian govt taking all measures to strengthen northern flank – Kuleba
KYIV. Nov 15 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Ukrainian government is taking all measures to strengthen the northern flank, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba has said.
"I would like the Belarusian leadership to be friendly towards Ukraine, I would like us to be able to view our northern flank as a safe place, but, unfortunately, this is not the case. From a military point of view, of course, the more directions there are with threats, your situation is all the more dangerous. But I would like to assure you that the Ukrainian government is taking all measures, also in cooperation with our closest partners, to strengthen our northern flank to ensure that our country is protected from all sides," said Kuleba a press conference following talks with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg in Brussels on Monday.
