Ukrainian fund Digital Future invests in Ukrainian-US startup Outloud.ai
KYIV. Oct 5 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Ukrainian venture capital fund Digital Future has invested in the Ukrainian-US startup Outloud.ai, which helps offline retail improve the level of service by analyzing conversations between employees and customers and has already attracted several large American fast food chains to its customers, the fund’s press reported.
"The amount of the deal was not disclosed – as a rule, the company invests up to $100,000 at an early stage and up to $400,000 at a later stage," the message says.
According to it, investments will be aimed at expanding product capabilities and building the sales process.
According to founder of Digital Future Oleksiy Vitchenko, who is cited in the press release, the decision to invest was influenced by the release of the startup Outloud.ai from the startup accelerator Y Combinator, investments from industry experts, the size of the target market and the founder’s good experience in the American retail industry (Burger King).
"Unlike online, where it is convenient to analyze customer interactions with a service, for offline it is still an obscure area. Outloud.ai solves this problem with proprietary voice analysis technology in noisy environments and helps businesses understand what problems arise on their first line," Vitchenko said.
Digital Future is a Ukrainian venture capital fund that invests in technology and high-growth companies at a seed and early stage. Since its launch in 2014, the fund has 30 investments and five exits with checks from $50,000 to $350,000. The founder of the fund is Oleksiy Vitchenko, and the managing director is Volodymyr Nesterenko.
