Ukrainian Defense Forces successfully repel attacks of Russian occupiers in several directions – AFU General Staff
KYIV. Oct 12 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled attacks by Russian occupiers in the areas of the settlements of Novosadove, Bakhmutske, Ivanhrad, Bakhmut, Soledar, Spirne, Mayorske and Krasnohorivka.
It is noted that the aviation of the Defense Forces carried out 27 strikes, as a result of which the defeat of more than 20 areas of concentration of weapons and military equipment, as well as six anti-aircraft missile systems of the occupiers was confirmed. In addition, Ukrainian air defense units shot down 10 UAVs and four enemy helicopters.
"Rocket troops and artillery hit three control points, 10 areas of concentration of manpower, weapons and military equipment and four ammunition units," the General Staff said in a statement released on Wednesday.
The ministry adds that the positions of enemy air defense, electronic warfare and other military targets also fell into the zone of fire damage of the Ukrainian army.
