Ukrainian defense forces hit 14 areas of occupation forces concentration, down two helicopters in past 24 hours – AFU General Staff
KYIV. Dec 19 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Ukrainian aviation launched 12 strikes on the areas of accumulation of enemy personnel, weapons and military equipment, as well as mounted five attacks on the Russian occupiers’ positions using anti-aircraft missile systems in the past 24 hours.
"Today, the air defense forces downed two enemy helicopters. The information about their types is yet to be specified," the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) said on Facebook page in the updates on the Russian invasion of Ukraine as of 18:00 on Monday, December 19.
The Ukrainian missile and artillery forces also mounted attacks on an ammunition depot, two control points and two areas of concentration of the enemy personnel.
"Due to significant losses, the enemy continues to change the purpose of hospitals in the temporarily occupied territories of Luhansk region into military hospitals. Luhansk Regional Clinical Hospital, Luhansk Multifield Hospital No. 15 and Railway Hospital have been transferred for the use by the Russian occupation forces. They refuse to provide the local population with services and suggest to address other healthcare facilities," the General Staff said.
