Ukrainian canoeists Luzan, Chetverikova win gold at World Rowing Championship
KYIV. Sept 20 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Ukrainian sportswomen Liudmyla Luzan and Anastasia Chetverikova won gold at the World Rowing Championship in Copenhagen.
"There is the first medal at the World Kayak and Canoeing Championship in Copenhagen! Our silver Olympic crew in a double canoe Liudmyla Luzan/Anastasia Chetverikova won gold at a distance of 500 meters. Our congratulations to the athletes and the entire coaching staff headed by Yuriy Cheban!" the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine said on Facebook.
