Ukrainian athlete Zubkovska wins gold in long jump at Paralympics in Tokyo
KYIV. Aug 30 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Ukrainian athlete Oksana Zubkovska has won the gold medal in long jump at the Paralympic Games in Tokyo, the Para Athletics said on its Twitter page.
The athlete won the final stage with 5.54 meters.
It is noted that this is Zubkovska’s fourth gold in a row. At the previous Paralympics in Beijing, London and Rio, the athlete also became a champion.
The Paralympic Games in Tokyo are held from August 24 to September 9. Ukrainian athletes have already won 36 awards: 10 gold, 17 silver and 9 bronze medals. In the overall medal standings, the Ukrainian team takes 5th place.
