Ukrainian athlete Polianskyi wins gold in rowing at Paralympics in Tokyo
KYIV. Aug 30 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Ukrainian athlete Roman Poliyanskyi has won a gold medal in rowing at the Paralympics in Tokyo, the National Paralympic Committee of Ukraine said.
"Roman Polianskyi has won the gold medal in academic rowing with a dramatic breakaway," the message says.
It is noted that this is Roman’s second gold medal.
Earlier it was reported that Ukrainian athlete Anna Stetsenko won the gold medal in the 400m freestyle swimming at the Paralympic Games in Tokyo.
