Ukrainian air defense ‘lands’ Russian reconnaissance drone in Kyiv region – Ihnat
KYIV. Feb 23 (Interfax-Ukraine) – In Kyiv region, during an air raid siren, the Ukrainian air defense shot down a Russian reconnaissance drone, said spokesperson of the command of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Yuriy Ihnat.
“The work of air defense, an ordinary day in a warring country. A reconnaissance drone visited Kyiv region. We worked out successfully – landed it,” Ihnat said on the air of the national telethon on Thursday.
He also noted that the air alert in the east of the country is associated with the threat of the use of ballistic missiles.
