Ukrainian air defense forces shoot down Russian missiles and drones in Odesa, Khmelnytsky and Kyiv regions
KYIV. Oct 11 (Interfax-Ukraine) – On Tuesday morning, the Ukrainian Air Defense Forces shot down Russian missiles and kamikaze drones in Odesa, Khmelnytsky and Kyiv regions.
Thus, according to head of Khmelnytsky regional military administration Serhiy Hamaliy, one Iranian-made Shahed-136 kamikaze drone was destroyed by air defense forces in Khmelnytsky region on Tuesday.
In Kyiv region, the air defense forces shot down at least two Russian missiles, head of Kyiv regional military administration Oleksiy Kuleba said.
Head of Odesa regional military administration Maksym Marchenko announced the work of air defense in Odesa region in his video message. At the same time, he did not provide details on what exactly the Ukrainian defenders were shooting down on Tuesday morning in the region.
