Ukraine's MFA urges Finland to close border with Russia
KYIV. Sept 22 (Interfax-Ukraine) – During a meeting with Finnish Foreign Minister Pekka Haavisto, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba called on Finland to join the Baltic countries and Poland in closing the border with Russia.
"Met with my Finnish counterpart Pekka Haavisto. We focused on further military aid to Ukraine as we defend our people and our land from the ongoing Russian aggression. I called on Finland to join the Baltic states and Poland in sealing the border with Russia," Kuleba said on Twitter.
