Ukraine will receive record almost 7,400 MWh of electricity from Slovakia on Friday

KYIV. Jan 27 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Electricity imports from Slovakia on Friday will amount to 7,368 MWh, which is still a record high since its actual start in January, according to data on the website of the network of system operators of continental Europe ENTSO-E.

According to the information on the website, imports for 17 hours of the day will amount to 308 MW each, during the rest of the day from 243 MW to 305 MW, and at the last hour of the day the most – 398 MW.

According to the data on the Ukrenergo electronic auction platform, D.Trading booked the largest interstate capacity for imports – 450-500 MW for all hours of the day. In addition, Augusta trader booked 10 MW for all hours of the day, ERU Trading – 6 MW, and D.Trading – 5 MW.

In total, from January 26, Ukrenergo puts up for auction an almost doubled cross-sectional capacity – 500-600 MW each, depending on the hour of the day.

As reported, Ukraine, according to the ENTSO-E website, began to receive imported electricity from January 15.

Thus, on January 15 it received 655 MWh, January 20 – 220 MWh, January 21 – 6,963 MWh, January 22 – 6,672 MWh, January 25 – 99 MWh, January 26 – 3,813 MWh, and a total of 18,422 MWh.
