Ukraine to receive 99 MW of electricity from Slovakia on Wed
KYIV. Jan 25 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Today Ukraine will receive 99 MW of electricity from Slovakia, data on the website of the ENTSO-E network of systemic operators of continental Europe.
According to information on the site, 4 MW goes each hour, with the exception of three daylight hours from 10:00 to 13:00, when 5 MW each hour is imported.
According to the data on the Ukrenergo electronic auction platform, out of 300-350 MW offered during all hours of day on January 25, 5 MW of the interstate section was booked by ERU Trading, 4 MW by Avgusta and 1 MW by U.Commodities.
The price was UAH 0 per MW.
After Ukraine has received a record 13,700 MW from Slovakia at the weekend, electricity was not imported on Monday and on Tuesday.
As reported, in January electricity was imported four times, which is reflected on the ENTSO website. Import of electricity on January 22 reached 6,672 MW – electricity was imported at a rate of 290-291 MW per hour, except for the last hour of the day, when 1 MW was supplied to Ukraine. D. Trading booked 290 MW for each hour of the day, ERU Trading booked 5 MW for each hour of the day, and 1 MW for two night hours were booked by NAP-Community.
In addition, three more times electricity was imported to Ukraine in January. The first was on January 15 – for a total of 655 MW. On this day, the section was booked by D.Trading (130 MW for each hour of the day), ERU Trading (20 MW for each hour of the day) and Nextrade (20-30 MW depending on the hour of the day). The second batch was on January 20, 220 MW at the last hour of the day, the section for which was bought out by D.Trading. The third batch was on January 21, when Ukraine received 290-291 MW from Slovakia each hour of the day, a total of almost 7,000 MW, 290 MW of the interstate section was booked for every hour of the day by D.Trading, 5 MW for each hour of the day by ERU Trading, as well as 1 MW for three hours from 16:00 to 19:00 by Avgusta.
