KYIV. Oct 29 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal has said that according to forecasts, Ukraine should soon reach a plateau in terms of the incidence of COVID-19.
"We understand that according to the forecasts of the past and this week, perhaps the next one, this is the peak where we expect to reach a plateau," Shmyhal said at a meeting of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities in Odesa on Friday.
At the same time, the prime minister stressed that vaccination is the only way to follow to avoid a pandemic.
As reported, on October 27, Shmyhal said that when a "red" zone of epidemic danger is established in the state as a whole, the corresponding restrictions will be applied, determined for local "red" zones.
