Ukraine sends 37,500 tonnes of vegetable oil to India
KYIV. Dec 7 (Interfax-Ukraine) – On Wednesday, the ports of Big Odesa shipped 149,300 tonnes of foodstuffs under the grain initiative.
"Today, three ships left the ports of Big Odesa, which will deliver 149,300 tonnes of foodstuffs to the countries of Asia and Europe. In particular, the bulk carrier SUGAR with Ukrainian vegetable oil is heading for India," the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine said in a statement.
In the ports involved in the grain initiative, 20 vessels are being processed. They are loading 613,200 tonnes of Ukrainian foodstuffs.
In addition, three more vessels are moving along the Grain Corridor to load 162,400 tonnes of foodstuffs.
Since August 1, 529 ships have left the ports of Big Odesa, which exported 13.2 million tonnes of Ukrainian food to the countries of Asia, Europe and Africa.
