Ukraine sees 18,668 new cases of COVID-19 over past day – Health Ministry
KYIV. Nov 17 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Some 18,668 new cases of COVID-19, 20,211 recoveries and 769 deaths were recorded in Ukraine as of Wednesday morning, the press service of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine has said.
"More than 9 million Ukrainians have completed immunization against COVID-19! On November 16, some 18,668 new confirmed cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine (of which there are 1,312 children and 403 health workers). Some 294,855 people were vaccinated against COVID-19, 114,029 people received one dose, and 180,826 people were fully immunized. Also, over the past day: 4,468 people were hospitalized, 769 people died and 20,211 people recovered," the message says.
