Ukraine returns bodies of another 25 dead soldiers – Ministry of Reintegration
KYIV. Sept 20 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The bodies of 25 Ukrainian defenders have been returned as part of another operation, according to the website of the Ministry for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine on Tuesday.
"Another operation was carried out to transfer the bodies of the fallen soldiers. Ukraine returned the bodies of 25 of its defenders. The operation was carried out with the cooperation of Commissioner for Missing Persons Oleh Kotenko and a number of law enforcement agencies of Ukraine," the report says.
It is noted that the process of returning the bodies takes place in accordance with the norms of the Geneva Convention.
