Ukraine registers over 12,300 COVID-19 cases in past 24 hours
KYIV. Dec 9 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Ukraine has registered 12,376 new cases of COVID-19 and 465 deaths in the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Health Ministry said on Thursday.
"Over the past day, December 9, Ukraine has recorded 12,376 new cases of COVID-19 (including 1,078 children and 194 medical workers); […], in the past 24 hours, 2,449 persons have been hospitalized, 465 have died, and 24,547 have recovered," the ministry said on Telegram.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, Ukraine has seen a total of 3.532 million COVID-19 infections, including 3.109 million recoveries.
