Ukraine registers 20,591 new COVID-19 cases, 752 related deaths in past 24 hours
KYIV. Nov 18 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Ukraine has registered 20,591 new cases of COVID-19, 19,633 recoveries, and 752 deaths in the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Health Ministry said on Thursday.
"Over the past day, November 17, Ukraine has registered 20,591 new cases of COVID-19, including 1,478 children and 377 medical workers, while 297,832 persons have been vaccinated for COVID-19, including 108,754 that received their first shot and 189,078 that completed vaccination. In the past 24 hours, 3,907 persons have been hospitalized, 752 have died, and 19,633 have recovered," the Health Ministry said.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, Ukraine has seen a total of 3.284 million coronavirus infections, including 2.704 million recoveries and 79,506 deaths. To date, 12.554 million people have been vaccinated for COVID-19 in Ukraine, including 9.257 million fully vaccinated persons.
