Ukraine reduces export of titanium-containing ores by 42% in 2022
KYIV. Jan 18 (Interfax-Ukraine) – In 2022, Ukraine reduced the export of titanium-containing ores and concentrate in kind by 41.8% compared to the previous year, to 322,143 tonnes.
According to statistics released by the State Customs Service (STS), in monetary terms, the export of titanium-bearing ores and concentrate decreased by 19.6% to $130.144 million.
At the same time, the main exports were to the Czech Republic (47.91% of supplies in monetary terms), the United States (11.94%) and Romania (9.75%).
Ukraine in 2022 imported 196 tonnes of similar products from Senegal (70.41%) and Turkey (29.59%) worth $115,000 (no imports was in October-December 2022), while in 2021 1,172 tonnes for $1.227 million was imported.
