Ukraine records over 5,700 new cases of COVID-19 in past 24 hours
KYIV. Sept 16 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Ukraine has registered 5,744 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19), as well as 1,499 recoveries and 101 deaths in the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Health Ministry’s press service said on Thursday.
"Ukraine recorded 5,744 new cases of COVID-19 (including 629 children and 95 medical workers) over the past day, September 15, 2021. In the past 24 hours, 1,507 persons were hospitalized, 101 died, and 1,499 recovered," the ministry said on Telegram.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, Ukraine has seen a total of 2.332 million coronavirus infections, including 2.227 million recoveries and 54,651 deaths.
