Ukraine receives around 840 tonnes of equipment under coordination of Energy Community Secretariat – Energy Minister
KYIV. Dec 15 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Ukraine has received around 840 tonnes of equipment and materials and continues to receive them under the coordination of the Energy Community Secretariat, Energy Minister of Ukraine Herman Haluschenko said on Facebook on Thursday, while summing up the results of his chairmanship for the Energy Community.
"Within the Energy Community, we continuously work on the supplies of critically important equipment to the energy sector of Ukraine for repairs and recovery after constant barbarian attacks by the Russian terrorists. As of today, we have received around 840 tonnes of equipment and materials under the coordination of the Energy Community Secretariat, and we will get even more," he said.
Last year Ukraine determined three main goals of its chairmanship for the Energy Community: the energy systems and markets integration, energy security and solidarity, as well as green transition, the minister said.
"The concept of supply security has gained new colors, just as the word ‘solidarity’. It is solidarity that united all of us around the energy challenges caused by Russia," Haluschenko said.
