Ukraine raises output of rolled products by 5.9%, cast iron by 6.4%, steel by 6.3% in Jan-Sept
KYIV. Oct 5 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Ukrainian metallurgical enterprises in January-September this year increased production of general rolled products, according to recent data, by 5.9% compared to the same period last year, to 14.519 million tonnes.
According to the Ukrmetalurgprom association, in January-September 2021 steel production increased by 6.3%, to 16.294 million tonnes, and cast iron – by 6.4%, to 16.146 million tonnes.
In September, 1.507 million tonnes of rolled products, 1.704 million tonnes of steel, and 1.665 million tonnes of cast iron were produced, while in the previous month – 1.675 million tonnes of rolled products, 1.864 million tonnes of steel, and 1.852 million tonnes of cast iron.
