Ukraine intends to exchange info on travelers with U.S., conclude memo of commercial cooperation – Cabinet's orders

KYIV. Aug 30 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Ukraine intends to agree with the U.S. government on cooperation in the use of information about traveling citizens, as well as on mutual understanding regarding commercial cooperation, according to the draft agreements with the U.S. government approved by the Cabinet of Ministers.

By order No. 974 of August 20, the Ukrainian government approved a draft agreement with the U.S. government on cooperation in the use of information on traveling citizens.

By order No. 980 of August 26, the government approved a draft memorandum of understanding with the U.S. government regarding commercial cooperation. First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economy Oleksiy Liubchenko was authorized to sign the document.

In addition, according to order No. 1008 of August 20, the government approved the draft additional agreement No. 7 to the agreement with the U.S. government on the implementation of the development task "to promote sustainable economic development on a broad public basis, as a means of ensuring sustainable democracy in Ukraine" signed in Kyiv on September 17, 2014.
