KYIV. Sept 3 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Ukraine intends to implement projects for construction of a network of regional supporting multidisciplinary medical institutions and sanatorium-resort treatment facilities, MP of Ukraine Oleksiy Honcharenko said on Telegram.

According to the report, the relevant projects are included in the Ukraine’s Transformation Plan, presented by President Volodymyr Zelensky during a working trip to the United States.

A government source confirmed to Interfax-Ukraine that the list had been prepared on the eve of the visit. However, according to the source, some changes could have been made to it already in the United States.

It is assumed that the project to create modern multidisciplinary hospitals on the basis of regional supporting medical institutions will be implemented in 2023-2030. The total project budget will be $3 billion, in particular the United States will provide a $1 billion loan in 2024-2027.

The United States will invest $1 billion in the creation of modern sanatorium-resort treatment facilities on a concession basis. The project is expected to be completed in 2022-2023.
