Ukraine increases exports of titanium ores by 2.2% in Jan-Oct
KYIV. Nov 10 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Ukraine in January-October of this year reduced exports of titanium-containing ores and concentrate in kind by 2.2% compared to the same period last year, to 447,177 tonnes.
According to statistics released by the State Customs Service, in monetary terms, exports of titanium-containing ores and concentrate grew by 15.8%, to $124.393 million.
The product was mainly exported to China (22.5% of supplies in monetary terms), Mexico (18.19%) and the Czech Republic (14.31%).
Ukraine during this period imported 912 tonnes of titanium-containing ores worth $889,000 from Senegal (82.09%) and Germany (17.91%), while in January-October last year it imported 890 tonnes for $748,000.
