Ukraine in Jan reduces import of manganese ores to minimum
KYIV. Feb 24 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Ukraine in January of this year reduced the import of manganese ore and concentrate in physical terms to a minimum, to 235 tonnes from 44,000 tonnes in the same period last year.
According to statistics released by the State Customs Service, in monetary terms, imports of manganese ore and concentrate for the specified period amounted to $38,000, while in January 2022 it was $5.827 million.
At the same time, all imports were from Slovakia (100% of deliveries in monetary terms).
Last month, Ukraine did not supply manganese ore and concentrate for export, as in January 2022.
