Ukraine imports about 670,000 generators in 2022 – Zhelezniak
KYIV. Jan 6 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Ukraine imported 669,400 generators in 2022, MP Yaroslav Zhelezniak (Holos faction) said.
"Of these, 643,800 generators were imported by enterprises, 25,500 – by citizens (about 4% of the total)," he wrote on his Telegram channel on Friday.
According to Zhelezniak, almost half of the generators were imported in December – 309,400, which is 52 times more than at the beginning of the year, when a little more than 6,000 units were imported in January.
The MP noted that the demand has steadily increased throughout the year, although fewer generators were imported in March – 4,600 units.
