Ukraine imports 760,000 tonnes of oil products in July – Economy Ministry
KYIV. Aug 19 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Ukraine imported 760,000 tonnes of oil products in July, First Deputy Economy Minister Denys Kudin said.
"Ukraine imported approximately 760,000 tonnes of gasoline, diesel and autogas. This is a comparable volume to pre-war imports," he said during a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada committee on finance.
As reported, with reference to Economy Minister Yulia Svyrydenko, in March 2020 Ukraine imported 60,000 tonnes of oil products, in April – 191,000 tonnes, and in May – 380,000 tonnes.
According to her, in June it was planned to increase the import of oil products by 1.6 times compared to May – up to 600,000 tonnes. In particular, 2/3 of them should be diesel fuel, 1/3 – gasoline and liquefied gas.
