Ukraine imports $60 mln worth of electric generators in two weeks – Dpty Minister of Economy
KYIV. Dec 8 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Ukraine has imported $60 million worth of electric generators and generator equipment over the past two weeks, First Deputy Minister of Economy Denys Kudin said.
"Generators and generator equipment have become the second import item over the past two weeks. Second after the fuel. We have delivered $60 million worth of such equipment in these two weeks, and from the fact that we communicate with companies, the volumes of generators that are on the road with delivery expectations in the second half of December, January, February and March are simply off the scale," he said during a discussion at the Center for Economic Strategy on Thursday.
He added that according to his data, Lviv and Kyiv compensate businesses for 75% of the purchase of generators.
