Ukraine helping Sweden in issue of joining NATO – Zelenskyy
KYIV. Feb 24 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Ukraine is helping Sweden to join NATO, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
“I know that there are details, there are difficult moments, and I will tell you openly – in this direction, where you have difficulties, you should know – Ukraine also helps Sweden,” Zelenskyy said at a press conference in Kyiv on Friday.
He stressed that Sweden’s strategic decision to join the North Atlantic Alliance is the right one, as is Finland’s decision to join NATO.
