Ukraine exports 8.63 mln tonnes of cereals and legumes since early 2021/22
KYIV. Sept 1 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Ukraine since the beginning of the 2021/2022 marketing year (July-June) and as of September 1, exported 8.63 million tonnes of grain and leguminous crops, which is 11.6% more than on the same date of the previous year.
According to the information and analytical portal of the agro-industrial complex of Ukraine, to date, 4.57 million tonnes of barley have been exported (7.7% less compared to the same date 2020/2021); 2.76 million tonnes of wheat (28.4% more); 1.26 million tonnes of corn (1.9 times more); 24,100 tonnes of flour (30.1% less).
As of the indicated date, 12,500 tonnes of rye were also exported, which is 9.6 times more than the indicators of the last year.
