Ukraine exports 4.27 mln tonnes of foodstuffs under grain initiative
KYIV. Sept 21 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Another eight vessels out of 170,300 tonnes of foodstuffs left the ports of Big Odesa for Asian and European countries on Wednesday, the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine reported.
"In particular, the bulk carriers DS Manatee, Sea Inspiration, Nizar departed from the berths of the Odessa port, Swimmer, Cenk M from the port of Chornomorsk, and Med Island, Bright Star, Leonora Victory from the port of Pivdenny," the ministry said.
In total, since the release of the first vessel with Ukrainian food, 4.27 million tonnes have already been exported, and the total number of vessels for Asia, Europe and Africa has reached 185.
