Ukraine cuts revenue from electricity exports by 8% in Jan-Sept
KYIV. Oct 18 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Ukraine in January-September 2021 reduced revenue from electricity exports by 8% (by $16.389 million) compared to the same period in 2020, to $189.223 million, according to data from the State Customs Service.
According to the calculations of Interfax-Ukraine, over nine months, electricity was supplied to Hungary for $76.32 million, Poland – for $54.259 million, Romania – for $36.495 million, and other countries – for $22.149 million.
In particular, in September 2021, electricity was exported for $26.137 million versus $9.288 million in September 2020.
In addition, in January-September of this year, Ukraine imported electricity for $62.618 million versus $113.618 million in the same period last year. In particular, electricity was imported from Slovakia – for $25.583 million, Belarus – for $24.713 million, Russia – for $5.754 million, and other countries – for $6.568 million.
