Ukraine cuts export of ferroalloys by 37.5%, import 47% down in Jan-July
KYIV. Aug 24 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Ukraine in January-July this year reduced the export of ferroalloys in physical terms by 37.5% compared to the same period last year, to 243,070 tonnes.
According to statistics released by the State Customs Service, in monetary terms, the export of ferroalloys fell by 16.2% to $438.590 million.
At the same time, the main exports were to Poland (55.41% of supplies in monetary terms), the Netherlands (11.53%) and Romania (6.77%).
In addition, during this period, Ukraine imported 16,183 tonnes of these products, which is 46.6% less compared to January-July 2021. In monetary terms, imports dropped by 28.7% to $59.938 million.
Import was carried out mainly from Norway (27.42%), China (17.04%) and Kazakhstan (16.01%).
