Ukraine allows vaccination against COVID-19 for children aged five and older
KYIV. Sept 19 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Ukraine has allowed vaccination against COVID-19 for children aged five and older.
As chief sanitary doctor of Ukraine Ihor Kuzin said at a briefing in Kyiv on Monday, vaccination of children aged 12 and older was allowed in Ukraine earlier.
Children aged five to 11 will be vaccinated with Pfizer’s Comirnaty vaccine. Now Ukraine is waiting for the appropriate vaccine in a special dosage for children.
Kuzin did not specify when this vaccine could be delivered to Ukraine.
