UK permits several sanctioned Russian banks to render payments for supplying energy to Mongolia
MOSCOW. Aug 16 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The UK has permitted Sberbank, Gazprombank, Credit Bank of Moscow (MKB), and Rosbank to render payments necessary for supplying energy resources to Mongolia.
The general license has been posted on the website of the UK government, and it is valid from August 15, 2022, to August 14, 2023.
The license also covers the subsidiaries of said Russian banks included in the UK sanctions list.
Russia is the predominant supplier of petroleum products to Mongolia.
