UK adds 5 Russians to list of individuals subject to sanctions
LONDON. Dec 9 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The United Kingdom has added five representatives of Russian law enforcement and security agencies to its list of individuals and entities subject to sanctions, the British government’s website said on Friday.
Valentin Oparin, Andrei Tishenin, Artur Shambazov, Oleg Tkachenko and Ramil Ibatullin were designated as individuals subject to sanctions. All of them are linked to various law enforcement services, the website said.
If these individuals’ assets are found in the UK, they will be frozen. The sanctioned individuals are also banned from entering the country.
