U.S. sanctions seven people involved in Iran's UAV, ballistic missile programs
KYIV. Jan 6 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The United States sanctioned people involved in Iran’s unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) and ballistic missile programs used by Russia in the war against Ukraine, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken has said.
"Iran is fueling Russia’s war in Ukraine with its provision of UAV technology. Today, the United States sanctioned seven people involved in Iran’s UAV and ballistic missile programs – programs Moscow is using to target Ukraine’s critical infrastructure," he said on Twitter on Friday.
