Two vessels to deliver Ukrainian food exports to Libya and Germany
NEW YORK, UN. Jan 19 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Two vessels carrying corn and rapeseed departed Ukrainian ports on Wednesday, the Joint Coordination Centre (JCC) said.
"The Joint Coordination Centre (JCC) reports that two vessels left Ukrainian ports today [on January 18] carrying a total of 64,200 metric tonnes of grain and other food products under the Black Sea Grain Initiative," it said.
The ER Nazire bulker is heading to Germany with 47,700 tonnes rapeseed on board, while the Ganosaya is carrying 16,500 tonnes of corn to Libya.
Another vessel transited the maritime humanitarian corridor on Wednesday on its way to the Odessa port.
According to the JCC, "85 applications for participation in the initiative have been submitted."
"As of 18 January, the total tonnage of grain and other foodstuffs exported from the three Ukrainian ports is 17,821,511 metric tonnes. A total of 1,310 voyages (650 inbound and 660 outbound) have been enabled so far," the center said.
