Two ceasefire violations recorded in Donbas since Wednesday midnight – JFO HQ

KYIV. Sept 29 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Since Wednesday midnight, on September 29, Russian mercenaries in Donbas have opened fire on Ukrainian positions twice. Over the past day, eight violations of the ceasefire regime were recorded, two servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were injured, the press center of the JFO headquarters reported.

"During the current day, on September 29, two violations of the ceasefire by the Russian occupation forces were recorded. In the area of Zolote-4, the invaders were targeting our positions from hand-held anti-tank and under-barrel grenade launchers, as well as small arms. Near the settlement of Pisky, the enemy used anti-tank hand grenade launchers and large-caliber machine guns. Our servicemen opened adequate fire on enemy provocations, which forced the enemy to stop shelling," the JFO staff said in its morning update on Facebook on Wednesday.

Over the past day, eight violations of the ceasefire were recorded, and one time with the use of weapons prohibited by the Minsk agreements. As a result of the hostilities, two JFO servicemen received gunshot wounds. The wounded are in a hospital, their state of health is satisfactory.
