Twenty people injured in truck and bus collision near Lviv
LVIV. Jan 17 (Interfax-Ukraine) – On Tuesday, January 17, a bus and a truck collided on the Lviv ring road, 20 people were injured, Lviv Regional Center for Emergency Medical Care and Disaster Medicine reported.
"At the time of the accident, there were about 40 people on the bus. As of now, 20 victims are being hospitalized," a message posted on the center’s Facebook page says.
At the same time, the press service of the Patrol Police Department in Lviv region
reports on its Telegram channel that the accident occurred near the village of Hamaliyivka on the Kyiv-Chop highway. According to the patrol police, traffic is partially blocked in the area of the accident, the police provide reverse traffic.
The patrol police report does not indicate the number of victims, but they call the accident "large-scale".
