Turkey's Minister of Defense, Ukraine's Minister of Infrastructure discusses acceleration of exports via grain corridor
KYIV. Oct 7 (Interfax-Ukraine) – On October 6, Turkish Minister of National Defense Hulusi Akar met with Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Oleksandr Kubrakov to exchange views on the export of foodstuffs through the 120-day grain corridor opened thanks to the Istanbul grain agreements.
According to the website of the Turkish Defense Ministry, the parties expressed satisfaction with the work of the Joint Coordination Centre (JCC), established to control ships passing along the corridor, and also discussed additional measures that could be taken to speed up grain exports.
