There’s no electricity supply in four regions, 11 people killed, 64 injured due to enemy shelling – Emergency Service
KYIV. Oct 10 (Interfax-Ukraine) – As of 14:00 on Monday, 11 people were killed and 64 injured as a result of enemy attacks in Ukraine, the State Emergency Service reports.
"As a result of the shelling, critical infrastructure facilities (mainly energy supply facilities) were hit in eight regions and Kyiv, where more than 30 fires occurred. As a result of the terrorist attack, 11 people were killed and 64 injured," the State Emergency Service said on the Telegram channel as of 14:00 on Monday.
According to the State Emergency Service, there is no electricity supply in four regions: Lviv, Poltava, Sumy, Ternopil. "In the rest of Ukraine, the electricity supply is partially disrupted," the report says.
More than 1,000 people and about 120 units of emergency service equipment were involved in fire extinguishing and rescue operations. The consequences are being clarified.
