There is every reason to believe that Russian special operation on disinformation being carried out to discredit Ukraine – MP Bezuhla
KYIV. Sept 25 (Interfax-Ukraine) – There is every reason to believe that the Russian special disinformation operation is being carried out to discredit Ukraine as a state, said head of the Interim Investigative Commission of the Verkhovna Rada on the investigation into possible unlawful actions of representatives of state authorities and other persons against the sovereignty of Ukraine Maryana Bezuhla (Servant of the People faction ).
"There is every reason to believe that a Russian special operation on disinformation is being carried out and is still relevant, which consists of numerous components that involve Ukrainian and foreign subjects. The temporary commission of inquiry also pays attention to the way it is carried out, what it is focused on, who and how takes part in it, and who is a tool, an active participant, and, it is predicted, we will pay even more attention. Because at the moment, starting to process the following cases [materials of the commission], we have signs that this [Russian special operation] is part of the big picture of discrediting Ukraine as a state," Bezuhla said at a briefing on Friday evening.
