There are already more than 450 sites for learning Ukrainian language in Ukraine – Language Ombudsman
KYIV. March 1 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Commissioner for the Protection of the state language Taras Kremin says that today there are more than 450 sites for mastering the Ukrainian language in Ukraine.
“As part of the all-Ukrainian campaign of the Commissioner for the Protection of the state language Taras Kremin, aimed at creating opportunities for everyone who wants to learn Ukrainian, we have collected information about more than 450 free courses, conversation clubs and online resources popular in Ukraine,” the press service of the Language Ombudsman said.
It is noted that most locations are located in educational institutions (colleges, universities, institutes of postgraduate pedagogical education) and culture (libraries).
According to the report, the leader in the number of locations is Kyiv region (69 sites) along with the city of Kyiv (27), followed by Lviv (80), Dnipropetrovsk (37), Transdniestria (32) and Vinnytsia regions (21).
At the same time, the smallest number of proposals for the study of the state language is presented in Kharkiv, Donetsk, Kherson regions.
